Summer Fun

We are having lots of fun this summer. I thought I would post about some of these fun things we have been doing...we have been very frugal!
We frequent the local parks. Daddy does a lot of spotting and mommy does a lot of watching. It is a lot of fun to not only watch Kylin do new things but watch Justin teaching her how to do them.

Kylin loves RUNNING! I mean loves running...she especially loves running with her favorite running partner, daddy! I am close behind pushing an empty stroller and trying to keep up.

Kylin has really gotten into helping out around the house. She really is a BIG help. She helps me put the dishes away and the silverware. She also really loves the vacuum. Here she is here doing what she calls helping:

Justin makes Kylin tents daily here at the Wojtczak house. This summer we pulled out the air mattress and it became a new addition to our tent making. We do all kinds of things like watching TV in our tent, keep cool in just our diaper with our tent, and even lay on top of our tent. This girl loves her some tents.




We have spent some time at our favorite CFA (we can't get enough)!! Kylin use to LOVE to play on their playground until we visited another CFA and the cow car made some "scary" racing noises and now all she wants to do is walk in there to check things out...run around a bit...and then ask if there are "noises. Hoping this passes but in the mean time we play with the salt shaker and use the window seal as a bench (don't worry we really don't let her do this often).


We have also gone to the mall of GA a few times. We usually get there before it opens. Kylin likes to play on the playground and it is nice when no one is there. We do a lot of walking, visit the apple store, and then when it opens we may get a pretzel for snack (not sure who likes it more mommy or Kylin). We then may get a treat and ride the carousel.


We have been swimming some. This girl is for sure a water baby. We even talked about getting a pool and if you know our backyard...that would be ridiculous. BUT she just loves it so much. Luckily we have some friends with a pool and have been on a couple of trips. We got Kylin a "Puddle Jumper" last summer for this summer and it has been great. She just floats around all by herself. We do have to watch to make sure she doesn't drink the WHOLE pool.

We have spent some time practicing loving on babies. Kylin just loves Sawyer. She usually isn't much for younger kiddos and tends to flock to her older cousins or friends BUT Sawyer is her buddy.

We are having a great summer...it has been a lot fun being with Kylin all day. It has been tiring and I have had a meltdown or two but is loving that I am right where I need to be. After all this fun...we do some chilling on the couch and then a little snoozing (or a lot)...
