One Month

Time flies with your second one. Hard to believe Charlee is already one month and yet she feels like she has always been here! Charlee was one month on the 17th and 5 weeks today!

Charlee you are 11 lbs and 2 oz. Your sister Kylin was 12.4 at her one month. You are 22 inches. Kylin was 22 and 3/4. (a little comparison for my sake).

You are an easy baby...you go with the flow. You still sleep most of the time but you have started waking up and playing. You have given us your first smile this week and it is so BIG! You are always moving that head to find us in the room. Your doctor was impressed with how well you held your head up when she put you on your tummy. Another strong little girl!


You take naps in the morning and afternoon. Your morning nap varies. You seem to like to sleep from 11:45-3:00 or 3:30 and then a little nap in the evening. We are all pretty rested because you go to sleep between 7-8 and sleep until 8 or 9. You wake up twice usually between 1-2 and then 5-6. Last night you sleep from 7:45-3:00. We are spoiled...
I believe all that good sleeping is the reason you are almost a pound less than your sister was at this time.


Kylin wakes up wanting to find you. She finally understands why we can't wake you up when she gets up. She is always kissing on you and will sometimes just lay next to you and talk to you. It really is the sweetest thing. I think she is ready to be able to play with you and show you her toys. You always light up around her. I think y'all are already plotting against us...We are going to have a lot of fun!
